We greatly enjoy cooking, and both believe that the kitchen is the heart of our home.
Growing up, spending time in the kitchen and eating at the family dinner table was a way of life. These were the times we were able to connect with our parents, brothers, and sisters, talk about our day, and reconnect as a family after long days at school and work. Going out to dinner at a restaurant was a seldom occurrence, and when we did go, it was something to look forward to and viewed as a treat.
It seems that families have gotten away from this once common tradition. It’s so easy to just go down the street to a restaurant to grab “a quick bite”, so we don’t have to worry about the time to cook and clean up. This seems to be more of the norm these days.
You don’t have to have hours to make great home cooked meals for your family. You don’t have to go down the road to get your fix for that plate of your favorite Mac-N-Cheese or that slice of Strawberry Cheesecake. You can cook a meal that costs less, and is just as great or even better than your favorite restaurant, and sit at your dining room table together as a family. You can do this in the same amount of time or less than it would take you to load up the car, drive, wait to be seated, wait to order, eat your meal, wait to pay the ticket, load up the car, and drive back home.
Eating our meals together as a family every evening is our way of life. We want to get families back in the kitchen and gathered around the table. We want to help show you ways to bring your family together by sharing our passion and love of food and our family with you.
